Organic black cardamom or Badi Elaichi, one of the types of Elaichi, which is black in color and larger in size than Choti green Elaichi. India is the second largest producer of Badi Elaichi.
It helps control blood pressure, aids in digestion and ulcers. It also has cancer-fighting compounds.
It is affordable compared to Green cardamom. Organic Black cardamom cannot be used in sweet dishes due to its earthy aroma and flavor. But it can be used in tea or can replace Green cardamom in savory-spicy dishes.
